DANISH PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP 2021-2022

(Zakat Fund)
For Students having Karnataka domicile & studying in colleges located in Karnataka Only
WHO CAN APPLY?

Students who have taken admission to 1st year for academic year 2021-2022 in following Professional Courses – BE/B.Tech, MBBS, BUMS, BAMS, BHMS, B.V.Sc, B.Pharma & Pharma D on merit basis through NEET 2021 & K-CET 2021 Counselling only.
Students who have taken admission to 1st year for academic year 2021-2022 in Law Courses (BA LLB, BBA LLB, BCom LLB & LLM), Journalism Courses - BA (Journalism) MA / MS (Journalism / Mass Communication) & Education Courses ( BA B.Ed / BSc B.Ed / B.Ed).

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :

  1. For MBBS, BUMS, BAMS & BHMS - NEET 2023 All India Medical rank within 4 Lakhs.
  2. For B.V.Sc - KCET 2023 Veterinary Rank within 20,000.
  3. For BE / B.Tech - KCET 2023 Engineering rank within 30,000.
  4. For B.Pharma / Pharma D - KCET 2023 Pharmacy rank within 20,000.
  5. For Law & Journalism Courses - Minimum 75% in previous annual exam.
  6. For BA B.Ed / BSc B.Ed / B.Ed - Minimum 70% in previous annual exam.
  7. The annual income of parents/guardian should not be more than Rs.2.5 Lakh.
  8. Student must be eligible to receive Zakat Amount.
  9. Separate funds have been reserved for poor & deserving “SYED” Students.

DOCUMENTS TO BE KEPT READY BEFORE STARTING TO FILL THE ONLINE APPLICATION:

  1. Recent Color Passport Size Photograph
  2. Marks Sheet - SSLC / 10th Std
  3. Marks Sheet - 2nd PUC / 12th Std
  4. Marks Sheet - Final Semester of UG (Only for PG Students)
  5. NEET 2023 Hall Ticket (If Applicable)
  6. KCET 2023 Hall Ticket (If Applicable)
  7. NEET 2023 / KCET 2023 / DIET / University Admission Order (If Applicable)
  8. Student Aadhaar Card
  9. Bank Passbook First Page / Cancelled Cheque
  10. BPL Card of Family (If Applicable)
  11. Income Certificate or Income & Caste Certificate issued by Revenue Department
  12. Fee Paid Receipt (Partial/Full Payment) of Current Year 2021-2022
  13. In case of persons with special needs – Disability certificate issued by Govt. of Karnataka or issued by registered Doctor on letterhead
  14. In case of orphans – Death certificate of parent

VERIFICATION, SELECTION & GRANT OF SCHOLARSHIP PROCESS:

  1. Online Scholarship Applications received will be scrutinized by Danish Education Trust.
  2. Documents uploaded online will be verified with the hard copy of the documents received.
  3. Shortlisted students will be verified / interviewed via video call.
  4. Panel of Trustees will do the final selection based on merit & financial background of the student.
  5. Selected students will be invited to attend an Online Scholarship Webinar.
  6. Scholarship amount will be transferred to the Bank Account of the Student after the Online Scholarship Webinar.
